It was so much fun to make this yesterday evening.

Cuteness overload!!

PREPARATION


Ingredients:

Boiled Rice 1 cup (300g)
Nori Seaweed 1 sheet
Boiled Egg Yoke 1
Black Sesame Seed 1/2 tablespoons
Soya Sauce 1 teaspoons
Japanese Cucumber 3 long slices
Cheese 1 pcs
Crab Stick* 3 sticks
Takuan (Yellow pickled daikon) 1 slice
Ham 1 slice
Fried Fish Ball 1
Spaghetti 1 stick
*You can replace crab stick with Tuna Mayo(or egg roll or other ingredients you prefer) for the filling inside the rice ball.

Intructions:

1. Cook 1 cup of boiled rice
2. Divide it into 6 portions. Which is roughly 50g per portion.

Tools:

1. Cling wrap
2. Knife
3. Nori puncher/scissors
4. Toothpicks
5. Bubble Tea Straw
6. Normal drinking Straw

PIKACHU

Ingredients:

Boiled Rice 50g
Nori Seaweed 1/4 sheet
Boiled Egg Yoke 1
Crab Stick* 1/2 stick
Takuan (Yellow pickled daikon) 1 slice
Spaghetti 1 stick
*You can replace crab stick with Tuna Mayo(or other ingredients) for the filling inside the rice ball.

Intructions:

1. 50g of boiled rice.
2. Mashed 1 boiled egg yoke.
3. Mix the mashed egg yoke into the boiled rice and mix well.
4. Use a cling wrap, stuff crab stick in the middle of the rice for filling & make the rice into a ball.
5. Takuan: Cut 2 triangle shaped for Pikachu’s ears. Use Speghetti to attached Pickachu’s ears to it’s head.
6. Crab Stick(Red): Using bubble tea straw, cut out 2 round shape for Pickachu’s cheeks.
7. Nori Seaweed: Cut 2 smaller triangle shaped for Pickachu ears, 2 round shape for eyes , nose and mouth.

KEROPPI

Ingredients:

Boiled Rice 50g
Nori Seaweed 1/4 sheets
Japanese Cucumber 3 long slices
Crab Stick* 1/2 stick
Spaghetti 1 stick
Ham
Cheese
*You can replace crab stick with Tuna Mayo(or other ingredients) for the filling inside the rice ball.

Intructions:

1. 50g of boiled rice.
2. Use a cling wrap, stuff crab stick in the middle of the rice for filling & make the rice into a ball.
3. Use pealer, peal 3 long slices of Japanese cucumber.
4. Wrap the cucumber slices aroud the rice ball, and secure it with Speghetti stick if needed.
5. Cheese: Using a toothpick, cut 2 big round shape for Keroppi’s eyes.
6. Ham: Using a bubble tea straw, cut 2 round shape for Keroppi’s cheeks.
7. Nori Seaweed: cut out Keroppi’s eyes and mouth.

KUMAMON

Ingredients:

Boiled Rice 50g
Nori Seaweed 1/2 sheet
Cheese
Crab Stick*
*You can replace crab stick with Tuna Mayo(or other ingredients) for the filling inside the rice ball.

Intructions:

1. 50g of boiled rice.
2. Use a cling wrap, stuff crab stick in the middle of the rice for filling & make the rice into a ball.
3. Fold Nori Seaweed into half so you will have 2 sheets. Use 1 sheet to wrap the rice ball.
4. Cheese: Use Bubble Tea Straw to cut out 2 round shapes for Kumamon’s eyes.
5. Cheese: Use straw to but out Kumamon’s eyebrow
6. Cheese: Use a toothpick, cut 1 big round shape for Kumamon’s mouth.
7. Crab Stick(Red): Using bubble tea straw, cut out 2 round shape for Kumamon’s cheeks.
8. Nori Seaweed: cut out Kumamon’s eyes, nose & mouth.

RILAKUMA 

Ingredients:

Boiled Rice 50g
Nori Seaweed 1/4 sheet
Fried Fish Ball 1
Spaghetti 1 stick
Soya Sauce 1 teaspoons
Cheese
Crab Stick*
*You can replace crab stick with Tuna Mayo(or other ingredients) for the filling inside the rice ball.

Intructions:

1. 50g of boiled rice.
2. Mix 2 teaspoons of soy sauce to the rice and mix well.
3. Use a cling wrap, stuff crab stick in the middle of the rice for filling & make the rice into a ball.
4. Fried Fish Ball: Use Bubble Tea Straw, cut 2 round shape for Rilakuma’s ears. Use Spaghetti to stick the ears to Rilakuma’s head.
5. Cheese: Use Bubble Tea Straw, cut 1 round shape for Rilakuma’s mouth.
6. Nori Seaweed: Cut Rilakuma’s eyes, nose and mouth.

TOTORO

Ingredients:

Boiled Rice 50g
Nori Seaweed 1/4 sheet
Black Sesame Seed 1/2 tablespoons
Spaghetti 1 stick
Cheese
Crab Stick*
*You can replace crab stick with Tuna Mayo(or other ingredients) for the filling inside the rice ball.

Intructions:

1. 50g of boiled rice. Separate1 tablespoon of rice for Totoro’s tummy (white). Keep it aside first.
2. Grind 1/2 tablespoon of Black Sesame Seed and add into the rice and mix well to get the gray color.
3. Use a cling wrap, stuff crab stick in the middle of the rice for filling & make the rice into a ball.
4. Try to shape the top part of the Gey rice ball to have 2 Totoro’s ears.
5. Add the white rice to the grey rice ball to make Totoro’s tummy.
6. Cheese: Use Bubble Tea Straw, cut out 2 round shapes for Tototo’s eyes.
7. Nori Seaweeds: Cut 2 small round shape for Totoro’s eyes, Totoro’s mustache and 5 V shape for Totoro’s tummy.

HELLO KITTY

Ingredients:

Boiled Rice 50g
Nori Seaweed 1/4 sheet
Takuan (Yellow pickled daikon)
Crab Stick*
*You can replace crab stick with Tuna Mayo(or other ingredients) for the filling inside the rice ball.

Intructions:

1. 50g of boiled rice.
2. Use a cling wrap, stuff crab stick in the middle of the rice for filling & make the rice into a ball.
3. Try to shape the top part of the rice ball to have 2 kitty ears.
4. Takuan: Cut out small round shape for Kitty’s nose
5. Crab Stick (Red): Cute out ribbon/flower shape.
6. Nori Seaweed: Cut our 6 wiskers and 2 small round shape for Kitty’s eyes.
